“The things taught in schools and colleges are not an education, but the means to an education.” The teaching fraternity is crucial in moulding the nation’s destiny. The strong instructors of yesterday promoted knowledge and self-discipline. Their dedication to perfection established exceptional educational standards, which are represented in the stream of knowledge infused with values. The emergence of smart technology and young minds’ access to the internet not only compressed the world, but also offered up new horizons for the teaching and learning process. Students have grown more curious and eager to study. They must be encouraged to pursue concepts that arise in their young minds through autonomous learning.
The new environment requires that teachers update their expertise and employ innovative teaching methodologies in order to provide students with new abilities that will allow them to assess the credibility of information obtained from new resources. Teachers’ roles have shifted from educators to facilitators. They must modify their lesson plan method to account for the interactive nature of modern technologies.
